Plain-words glossary

A few words pop up as you use Acro Planner. Here's each one, explained in a single friendly sentence.

The basics

Yuimaru — the platform that runs the workshops, tickets, and payments behind the scenes.
Acro Planner — the name of the app on your phone; it's Yuimaru for the acroyoga/acrobatics world, so the two mean the same thing.
Series — a festival as an ongoing thing: its name, look, and idea, holding the settings shared across every run.
Edition — one actual run of a series, with real dates; a series can have several editions over time.
Festival — the everyday word for a series or one of its editions — the event you're going to.
Workshop — a single session at a festival, with its own time, room, and teacher.

Venue — the building or site where an edition takes place.
Room — a space inside the venue where workshops run.
Area — a spot within a room; a workshop is pinned to an area, and every room has at least one covering the whole space.

Host / Teacher — the person leading a workshop; their teaching blurb is separate from their personal profile.
Community — the other people coming to an edition, browseable from your Profile (only those who've made their profile public).

Registration — signing up for a festival or workshop, which takes your place (unlike saving, which is just a bookmark).
Pass — your ticket to the whole edition, shown at the top of the Tickets tab.
Ticket — your proof of entry to a festival or workshop, each with its own code.
Plan sharing — showing another attendee of the same festival the workshops you've saved, by their email address; it goes one way, so you each share to see each other's.
Highlight / Dim / Hide — how you choose to see someone's shared plan on your own list: stand out, fade back, or off entirely. Private to you.
Saving / the heart — tapping the heart to bookmark a workshop into your plan; interested (ink outline) means "watching it", committed (pink fill) means "planning to go".

Passkey — a secure key kept on your phone that signs you in with your fingerprint, face, or screen-lock — nothing to type.
Hanko — the service that handles sign-in and passkeys, so Acro Planner never needs a password.
