Guide › Going to a festival › Your profile
Step 8
Your profile
The Profile tab is your home base in Acro Planner — your photo and name at the top, and a short list of rows to manage everything about your account.
What's on the Profile tab
At the top you'll see your picture, name, and email, plus a quick count of workshops you're interested in and registered for. Below sit the rows:
- Edit profile — your photo, name, and public bio.
- My registration — your ticket details and invoice.
- Community — who else is coming to the festival.
- Saved workshops — jumps to your Plan tab.
- Security & privacy — your data and sign-in settings (covered in the next step).
Right at the bottom is Log out.
Editing your profile
Tap Edit profile to change how you appear. You can:
- Set a photo — take one or choose from your library. Add, replace, or remove it.
- Edit your name, pronouns, and home city.
- Write a short bio — a line or two shown on your public profile.
- Share your acroyoga/acrobatics — your preferred role, experience level, and skills, which help teachers pitch sessions.
- Choose your visibility — private, public but with a hidden email, or fully public.
Changes aren't kept until you tap Save — a note at the bottom reminds you when you have unsaved edits. Your email is managed under Security & privacy, not here.
Tap Preview at the top of Edit profile to see exactly how your public profile looks to other people at the festival.
Community — who else is coming
Tap Community to browse the other people attending the festival you're viewing. Each card shows a name, role, and home city. Tap someone to open their profile and connect before a jam.
You'll only show up in Community if your visibility is set to public. If you'd rather stay private, set that under Edit profile — nothing is shared without your say-so.
One small thing worth knowing: the profile people see in Community is your own personal profile. If you also teach, your teacher blurb on a workshop is a separate thing — see the glossary.
Common questions
Who can see my profile?
You decide, under Edit profile → Visibility. Private keeps it to yourself; hide email lists you in Community without showing your address; public shows everything.
My photo didn't change.
After picking a photo you still need to tap Save. The bar at the bottom flags unsaved changes.
How do I change my email?
Email is managed under Security & privacy, through your Hanko sign-in — not on the Edit profile screen.
Is my Community profile the same as my teacher page?
No. Your personal profile (what Community shows) is separate from a teacher blurb on a workshop. You can appear as an attendee and a teacher with different text.
