Sharing your plan with a friend
Going with friends? Acro Planner lets you share the workshops you've saved with someone else at the same festival — and lets them share theirs with you — so you can see where your plans overlap without a single message.
What sharing does
When you share your plan, the other person sees the sessions you've hearted mixed into their own Plan tab, marked in a colour that belongs to you. It doesn't sign either of you up for anything, and it doesn't change your plan.
It also keeps itself up to date: heart something new and it shows up for them; clear a heart and it goes away again. Nothing to re-send.
Sharing your plan lets them see yours — not the other way round. To see each other's plans you each share, from your own Plan tab. Nobody's plan is visible to anyone who wasn't deliberately given it.
Where to find it: the Plan tab
Open the festival, go to the Plan tab, and scroll past your saved sessions. Underneath is a section called "Shared with you" with a + Share with an attendee button.
Sharing yours with someone

Tap "+ Share with an attendee"
On the Plan tab, under Shared with you. A small panel slides up.

Type their email address
The address they signed up with. The panel reminds you: "They need to be registered for [the festival]. They'll see your saved sessions in their own plan."

Tap "Share plan"
Done. Their name appears as a chip under "You're sharing with:".
Plan sharing is for people actually coming to the festival, so you both need a registration for it. If their email doesn't match a registered attendee, the app says so instead of sharing.
What their sessions look like
Sessions shared with you slot into your plan list on the right day, in time order alongside your own. They're drawn with a dashed outline in that person's colour and their name above the workshop title, so you always know whose is whose. They're read-only — you can see them, but they're not yours to change. If you've already saved the same session yourself, it isn't listed twice.
"Shared with you"
Each person sharing with you gets a card: their coloured initial, name and email, and how many sessions they've saved. Under that are four buttons — the first three change how their sessions look in your plan, and they're private to you:
- Highlight — a thicker outline, so they stand out.
- Dim — faded back, still there but quieter.
- Hide — off your plan list entirely; their card stays, marked "hidden", so you can bring them back.
- Remove — ends the share.
The first three are toggles — tap the one that's already on and their sessions go back to normal. The other person is never told which you chose.
Hide only cleans up your view; the share is still there. Remove ends it for both of you, and only that person can start it again.
Stopping a share you started
The chips under "You're sharing with:" list everyone you've shared with. Tap a chip's × to stop sharing with that person. Your own plan is untouched.
Common questions
What exactly can they see?
The sessions you've hearted for that one festival — both interested and committed. Not your tickets, not your payments, and nothing from other festivals.
Do I see their plan too?
Only if they share with you as well. Sharing goes one way, so you each do it from your own Plan tab.
Does it update when I save more workshops?
Yes, by itself. What they see always follows your current hearts — new saves appear, cleared ones vanish.
It says nobody with that email is registered
Check the spelling first — it must be the address they signed up with. If it's right, they haven't registered for this festival yet, and sharing only works between registered attendees.
Will they know if I dim or hide them?
No. Highlight, Dim and Hide only change how things look on your own phone.
Is this the same as on the website?
Yes — same shares, same people. On a computer they show up on the timetable grid instead of a list. See the web guide.
